THE PRAYER OF FAITH

Complete belief is the key to the prayer of faith.  This type of prayer is a prayer expressed in action – it is done in the moment and presented with the complete faith that what we receive is what we asked for.

Mark 11:24 ESV
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

As soon as we create a prayer of faith, our intent prompts us to detach from the outcome of our prayer in the knowing that the prayer has already been answered.  We do not know when the results from our prayer will arrive nor how they will be presented here on earth.

2 Corinthians 5:7 ESV
“… for we walk by faith, not by sight.”

The prayer of faith relies on our belief as our substance – not earthly evidence.  We know our prayer is immediately answered in the realm of Spirit.  It is our belief that calls forth the manifestation of our prayer from the spiritual world and into our world according to our faith.

When we express a prayer of faith, the relationship between our intent and our belief is paramount because God will not violate our free will. God will deliver our prayer in accordance to our faith.  Thus, if our faith is lacking, God will not randomly override our belief.

Mark 9:23 ESV
And Jesus said to him, “ If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.”

Is your intent in alignment with your belief?

PRAYER OFFERS A VARIETY OF WAYS TO STRENGTHEN OUR SPIRITUALITY

The more aware we become of Spirit and our connection to the Universe, the stronger our desire becomes to connect and interact with God.  Prayer and meditation are wonderful ways for us to have a conversation with that which is greater than ourselves.  Luckily, there are many types of prayers and many ways to pray.  And whether the prayers are formal or informal, they often revolve around the following:

Prayers of Faith
Prayers of Agreement
Prayers of Request
Prayers of Thanksgiving
Prayers of Worship
Prayers of Dedication
Prayers of Intercession
Prayers of Affirmation
Prayers of Meditation
Prayers of Visioning

However we choose to pray, whenever and wherever, the more consistent we are with our prayers, the more open we become.  As our willingness to embrace goodness unfolds before us, the more our eyes, mind and heart embrace reverence, gratitude, appreciation and love.  As we strengthen our faith and bond with the Divine, the deeper we experience the richness of life – those places that exist below the surface and inevitably touch our soul.

Romans 12:12 ESV
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Will you Pause today to pray?

Prayer is non-exclusive and available to me.
The opportunity to pray is always accessible to me
and presents itself easily.
Everywhere I am, I can choose to pray –
I know it and I experience it.
Prayer invites me to its call
and expresses itself in me and through me.
I welcome prayer and prayer welcomes me.

Psalm 27:13 ESV
I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living!

PARADIGM SHIFT

Will we choose to reflect and consider making changes during the upcoming New Year?  Will we be willing to detach from comfort?  Do we want to be the same old us with a great new look?  Perhaps instead, we want something different.  Do we want to truly be a new us?  The choice is ours.

If we are not pleased with the way our life has been unfolding, it could be that we are not living our personal paradigm.  Any discomfort that we are feeling might be because we are living someone else’s belief system, hopes and dreams.

If our lives are to shift toward our greatest good, we need to be open, honest and willing to examine our thoughts, behaviors and beliefs.  Are we willing to dig deep into our past to explore our subconscious minds?  Are we willing to make deeper spiritual commitments?  Are we ready to make leaps of faith?  What are we really willing to do?  Resolutions challenge us to consider all of these things.

Will you Pause today
to reflect on your willingness
 to make changes
toward your greatest good?

Letting go of attachment is filled by willingness.
Unlimited willingness is mine.
I welcome willingness.
More and more willingness comes to me each day.
Everything I do, I do willingly.
I feel willingness.
I experience willingness.
I express willingness.

PAUSING FOR SELF IMPROVEMENT THROUGH PRAYER

Life is a rare gem, filled with moments of unfolding wonderment and beauty. We can enhance our life by having a better understanding of ourselves which can be achieved through prayer and meditation.  As we reach toward a stronger connection to God through prayer and meditation, we can obtain self contemplation, reflection, and observation.

Thought through prayer and meditation provides us the opportunity to listen and hear from God.

Pausing to listen and reflect on a better understanding of who we are through Spirit is a glorious benefit of prayer and meditation.  We can discover our purpose and direction by taking the time to pause in order to receive them.  If we are willing to listen and look, the Universe reveals a world of answers wrapped in unconditional love, prompting us to love ourselves in healthy and balanced ways.

We are born out of God.  It is through prayer and meditation that we discover our unique being, beautiful and wondrous, as absolutely known by God.

Are you listening to God? What do you hear?

Jeremiah 29:11 ESV
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Will you Pause to be still and listen?

Make each moment count toward listening to Divine Love.  We invite you to Pause today.
